Welcome to Erin Lichens & David Carpenter! Both Erin and David will work with the Cima Collina hospitality team in the Carmel Valley Tasting Room
Erin Lichen’s expertise in the local hospitality industry spans several years. Locals may recognize Erin from her time at Tarpy’s over the past 24 years, or during the opening of Hullaballoo Restaurant in Salinas where she worked as manager. While her background is in restaurant management and events, Erin’s recent time spent working in the local wine industry has tapped into a new direction of hospitality. “I have always been a passionate advocate for the local food and wine industry,” comments Erin. She can now continue to share her wine knowledge and experience with locals and visitors directly, in special events, tasting room and wine club management with the Cima Collina team.
David Carpenter, a longtime advocate of Cima Collina wines and dedicated wine club member, comes to the winery with a background in high-end retail sales management. Before working in the wine industry, David worked in sales at Yosemite National Park where he spent free time hiking, mountaineering, and enjoying wine outdoors. When returning to the Central Coast in 2013 to be closer to family, his girlfriend introduced him to the local wine industry and Cima Collina Winery. “The rest is history,” adds David. “I still enjoy the outdoors and travelling – only now it is with my favorite bottle of Cima Collina wine.”
Stop by, say hello and share their favorite Cima Collina wines!
