You may have noticed a bit of playfulness in our series of ads over the years (and, although they may require a second glance, none feature Cima Collina Winemaker Annette Hoff). With a limited budget, and placed primarily in the local market, we wanted to convey a sense of artistic, eye-catching fun. So, in 2014, we set Glenn Johnson of local Springboard Design to the task.
“Our original aim was to develop a series of ads that set Cima apart from all of the other winery ads out there (a bottle with wineglass or tasting room with staged people). We wanted to inject some emotion. Additionally we wanted to reinforce the “Artisan” winemaking and playfulness of the Cima brand, hence the “arty” and “fun” images, ” comments Johnson.
Annette is always a part of the creative concept and brainstorming, focused on a lighthearted, unpretentious angle to enjoying Cima Collina wines. We hope they have caught your eye – and imagination – while flipping pages over the years!
